Performance Driven Localisation in Digital Media – Seminar

Last month, Locaria hosted our first seminar at The Hospital Club London where our linguistic experts discussed all things localisation. Throughout the session, we uncovered all aspects of content localisation for international brand promotion. This included tips on best practice for building compelling website content as well as creating marketing collateral to engage with prospective customers through locally-relevant advertising activity.

Numerous insights and experiences were shared, in particular how we delivered multilingual campaigns for a large portfolio of clients, where localisation became a performance channel in its own right. We call this Performance Linguistics™.

But why is this topic important to marketers? A quick look at the statistics shows just how multilingual our world is:

  • Over 6,000 languages are currently being used globally

  • Of that, roughly 10% of these are spoken by more than 100,000 people

  • There are distinct differences in writing systems within each

All attendees left with a better understanding of why and how performance-driven localisation, and tailored linguistic support is a must have for any multi-market or cross-channel online advertising strategy.

Some of the key takeaways can be viewed in the video below.
