Prism: Multimedia Management

Prism is a dedicated client-review portal which offers unique features, blending the visual and annotation capabilities of a DAM with the advanced language-review options of a translation tool. ​ It was designed around transparency and collaboration with clients, optimising the entire content creation and review process. ​

​Prism is a module built upon our pre-existing Locate platform, enabling clients to collaborate, give feedback, and review content in a range of formats. Clients can follow along with everything from copies to more complex multimedia assets like videos.

The need for more complex and move visually appealing assets has grown exponentially in recent years, requiring further adaptation and manipulation to best suit target markets.​ Assets have become more visual and multimedia requests are more and more common. Deliverables may involve asset adaptation for locale markets, or contain file formats that are normally not fully editable, such as banners in .jpeg or flyers created in Photoshop. ​

​The market so far has lacked a tool that can review all these formats as well as offering language review features at the same time. Prism is the answer.

Video Assets​

• Master video (English) with live subtitles. Click to edit subtitles directly. ​
• Subtitle editor and video are synched – able to edit with context. ​
• Ability to make and track linguistic changes within subtitles, using translation memories, glossaries and ToV guidelines. ​
• Live preview displays changes to subtitles in real-time​
• Ability to make annotations directly on the video. Up to 10 annotations per frame.​
• Advanced QA features flagging up linguistic errors, inconsistencies, mismatches, disallowed terms, etc​
• All editing/annotation features + live video preview in one window​
• Changes and annotations can be exported and sent to the creative team for asset finalisation​
• Project history and asset versions tracked in Locate’s file management system
