Hannes Ben

Hannes founded Locaria to address the shortfall in digital marketing performance that sub-optimal localisation practices were causing. Hannes has been developing strategies and processes for multilingual digital content creation by combining analytical skills, digital technology and multi-faceted language production methodologies with the goal to improve multilingual online performance across a wide range of international clients. His key focus areas are to drive international business development, innovation and technological advancement to ensure Locaria stays at the forefront of the language service industry. Hannes is a passionate polyglot with active knowledge of over 14 languages as a result of living, studying and working in 12 countries throughout his career.

Lindsay Hong

Lindsay leads our diverse multicultural team and sets the strategy to ensure Locaria’s services remain at the cutting edge of international digital marketing and localisation. She is responsible for overseeing the strategic development of Locaria’s business model to support our clients across our global locations. Prior to Locaria, Lindsay worked client-side in e-commerce, developing new businesses and expanding into international markets with some of the world’s leading brands. Lindsay is fluent in Mandarin Chinese, having lived and worked in the APAC region, and is a passionate advocate for international trade.

Gunilla Huddleston

Gunilla manages marketing operations at Locaria, overseeing new marketing strategies to further share the Performance Linguistics proposition with a wider audience. Specialising in social media campaigns, lead generation, and content creation, Gunilla plays a crucial role in delivering Locaria’s unique proposal and shaping the company image.

Dr Laura Cantora

Laura joined Locaria in 2013 having previously obtained a PhD in Translation from the University of Leeds whilst working as a freelance translator and project manager. At Locaria she set up processes for localising large volumes of PPC content into multiple languages, expertly blending localisation and digital marketing expertise to result in high-performing content for multiple brands. This subsequently developed into our Performance Linguistics offering. As part of the management team she now leads on new market entry strategy for our clients, and heads up on-site and off-site multilingual content delivery across 45 languages.
