BELA Announces the Best Employees in Localisation Awards Winners for 2022, where Locaria wins in the Best For Training And Personal Development Category. 

London, United Kingdom, Wednesday 12/01/2022 

Locaria kicks off 2022 with a win at the third annual 2022 BELA awards for the ‘Best in Training and Personal Development category.’ Locaria continues to set the bar high when it comes to retaining talent and expanding its extensive global pool of talented linguists, with a freshly expanded training and development strategy rolled out throughout 2021. 

Brought to you by Adaptive Globalization, the esteemed BELA awards were introduced to acknowledge and reward the very best employers within the language industry from across the globe.  

To recognise and praise those Language Service Providers both large and small working to make a difference whilst continuing to position the Language Services industry as an outstanding career choice, the BELA awards aim to bring a focus to the language sector and highlight businesses within the industry who appeal to everyone, from graduates to C-Level executives. 

Furthermore, the BELA awards enable companies to publicly recognise and promote employers who go above and beyond for caring and growing their employees. 

For this year’s BELA awards, there were 5 categories that companies could enter.  

These categories included: 

  1. Best Language Services Provider for Employee Well-being 
  1. Best Language Service Provider for Employee Retention 
  1. Best for Training and Personal Development (Locaria 2022 Winners).  
  1. Best Language Service Provider for Career Progression 
  1. 2021 Overall Best Employer 


We are ecstatic to have received this excellent award at BELA this year. One of our key values “always teaching, always learning” underpins how we approach L&D at Locaria, and it’s great to see this element of our culture result in wider industry recognition. Much of our training has been developed in house by our experts, because when you create new exciting services to shake up media and localisation, you just can’t buy training off the shelf.
